I hated this movie. Not at all what I was expecting.. and not in the good way.

This used to be my favorite movie, but now I think that I loved it so much just because of Audrey. She's soooo adorable in this. Also, the ending is probably my favorite movie ending of all time. So romantic.

I tend to only watch the first part...up until the party scene...I don't really care about the rest, haha.

this movie is really horrible and weird when you really think about it. I think the only reason people get obsessed with it is because Audrey is just so lovely.

i love how you have a still or two of holly looking up the stairs, but you don't show who she's talking to. mickey rooney, ugh.

bit of trivia

Marilyn monroe was originally offered the role but told to turn it down by lee strassberg so as not get typecast.

Re: bit of trivia

i always wished that they had done an alternate version with Marilyn, just to see her take on the role

Whatever. I love this movie. It's deliciously smart and Audrey is just lovely. To add to what someone says earlier, everyone wants to be Holly Golightly in this movie, and if you claim otherwise, you're a liar and quite are quite possibly planning a communist coup.

audrey is beautiful, but damn, when you think of all the girls she must have turned anorexic.
The movie on the whole is kind of eh, but holly golightly is a great character and i love the party scene. TIMBERRRR

Audrey Hepburn was anorexic.

Can we please, as a culture, move on?

Re: Audrey Hepburn was anorexic.

No she wasn't, and even saying that isn't going to deter away from the amazing contributions she made to film, fashion, and most important, charity.

Audrey Hepburn is terrific in this film but...

I can't help but think of all the flaws: Mickey Rooney as the Japanese guy is totally unnecessary. George Peppard is a good-looking guy (as these stills suggest), but he is not charming or believable as the romantic lead. The movie is often tedious too.

Great caps, though. Hepburn is so perfectly chic as Holly Golightly.

I disagree about George, I think he made a wonderful Paul/Fred, at least I was swooning . . .

Never really got it.. Holly irritates me, and I feel little for Peppard.

I know Audrey Hepburn is very lovely and might be the only reason people watch this movie and I agree, she is lovely..but not as lovely as I picture her in my head. The more and more I see pictures of her, she looks way too thin and it makes her neck look strained and makes her look old. :/

I've tried to watch this movie so many times but I end up turning it off because it's so boring.

I love this movie, Audrey and your choice of stills. The only thing that is boring and anorexic are the comments above.
