carpenter wanted it to end with part 2..unfortunetly, those that wanted more money decided to keep mm alive [hence part 4 and on, in which carpenter wanted nothing to do with] ..but, in the meantime, carpenter wanted to tell other stories involving halloween.
Oh no, I completely understand. There's a lot of bad movies that I love dearly. I actually own Halloween III but only because I'm obsessed with the rest of the movies and it only seems right :)
as a halloween fan, i was disappointed that this one didnt have meyers in it. they HAD to continue the franschise, didnt they? DIDNT THEY? this one just gave people an entire NEW reason to hate halloween. i wasnt that much of a fan of this one besides the ending and the part where the kids head melted when he put on the jack o lantern mask. ill admit that was cool. plus this movie had laser beams in it. you did a great job with the stills besides it being a lame movie. thanks for posting.
But that's what makes it so great! It's this perfect "what the fuck?" movie moment. Evil halloween mask-making company? Terrible computer graphics? An obnoxiously catchy tune? It's so perfectly idiotic and yet...I must watch it over and over.
i agree on the corniness that makes this movie what it is. all of the above ESPECIALLY the computer graphics that made this movie memorable in all its little idiotic ways. hehe.
this movie is so so awful. i read the novelization while i was in the hospital because i had nothing better to do and can honestly say that the novel was better than the film.
the stills do make it look like a good movie though, i must say.
