Jodorowsky is magnificent in how he uses symbolism and creates new symbols even. I have not yet seen El Topo but Holy Mountain was visually strong and effective enough to get me hooked.
yeah, i saw it and didn't know how i felt about it, so i watched it a second time and capped it. it was my first time not really knowing how i felt about a movie and it was my first time capping, and by the end i was satisfied with both things :)

I love the first/third cap by the way. I never noticed how flat the sky looked in that shot. It looks exactly like a painting. Sublime.
