Awww.. sorry about that. Tags just help avoid double-posting but it's cool. Honestly, I'm pretty ADHD so unless I'm not capping a movie, I'm not watching it. So... I'm glad I got to cap this again. Sorry though =[
They turned them into powder. The funny thing is: they're all UN ambassadors from different countries so their powders, naturally, are the different colors of the rainbow.
Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith, and Frank Gorshin are like manic gods to me. Everyone else in the cast is brilliant in their own way, but those three...gods.
Too bad no Batgirl. I'm pretty sure she jumpstarted my puberty a couple of years early.
HA HA HA HA! They're wearing GLOVES over their GLOVES!!
"Batman" has always been camp. Check out the 1940s serials on DVD--the first, (simply "Batman") is loaded with disturbing wartime racism, but both it and its follow-up ("Batman And Robin") are hilariously awful cheap fun.
I know! I had forgotten about the ending. Batman even goes as far as to say leaving them like that is, like, "the best thing that could've ever happened for mankind." What a dick.
I just realized that in several scenes Joker, Riddler, and Penguin are wearing masks, even though their outfits (and their hair/skin/nose) already identify them pretty uniquely.
Look at image 29. That's her as Kitka, the woman who wins Bruce's heart. Look at image 30. That's her as Catwoman, minutes later, as one of Batman's foes.
Haha. You should. Make sure you grow a trademark moustache first, then refuse to shave it for the part and make the costume people smear white paint over it, resulting in an awkward paint-on-moustache look.
The first time I saw this was in a small town drive-in theatre back in 1966, when I was 6. It was a BIG deal, EVERYBODY in town was there.
As the only kid in school who read comics, it used to piss me off that Batman was depicted as such a buffoon...but I never missed the show anyway. A few years later, I figured out what they were trying to do with this show, and I loved it even more.
It's an effing crime the series isn't available on DVD...

Re: Holy Polaris, Batman!
I love how they fucked up and their solution was..."Let's go, but, inconspicuously, through the window."

And I'm insanely jealous you got to see it in a drive-in. I LOVE drive-ins and would kill to see the film there.
And... one last question: is that Modok in yr icon? Haha.
